Avoiding Immigration Problem in Indonesia
Immigration problems can be avoided with good preparations and knowledge of Indonesian immigration policies. Some important points that are needed to be given attention are your passport validity, blank passport page, visa extension regulation and requirements for visa extension.
The passport validity must not be less than 18 months because less than that your visa application for sure will be turned down since this is internationally acceptable immigration regulations. You can avoid this problem by always observing your passport validity.
Your blank passport pages must always be no less than 5 pages, less than that you have to apply for extension or apply for additional pages in your embassy in Indonesia and since some embassy offices in Jakarta are no longer able to issue passport by reason of busyness, the process is forwarded to another country. The embassy of Great Britain in Jakarta, for instance, has transferred its passport making process to Hong Kong and the processing there takes about 2 weeks... January 15, 2012
